Yes, the people of Richardson should be able to keep x-rated content out of their city if they do not want that type of company there.
Yes, I believe they should have the right to do so. The majority of the peoples morals are above sexual immorality, the environment shouldn't suffer for the enjoyment of sickos...Sex is a private matter and not a open public action, that our younger society should take in. What positives does these establishments hold? The only out come of these types of places provide are negative and below the Christian moral latter.
I disagree with the previous 2 entries. In this country, Americans have the right to own and operate any business that is legal. As long as nothing is visable from the outside of the store, then where's the issue? If someone doesn't like the content of something on the inside of a store, than don't go into that store. Morality is a subject of opinion on most levels. Who is anyone to define an issue as individualistic as morality? Sexuality is a human response, and many wouldn't find a store like that offensive at all.
Well Ryan you said that sexuality is a response..?..no, I don't respond to anyone with sexual immorality or any type of sexual response...you would have to agree that it would be acting impulsively on your sexual desires...I really don't understand why it would be a bad thing to keep stores that sells sex related merchandise out of Richardson...you would call me a lier if I said there were no perverts in the world, right? but thats wrong... your right morality is judged on many different levels , but that doesn't make it right...If i decided to kill some one and call myself innocent..do you think I'm innocent? I hope you don't think so, because what I perceived was morally right on my moral biases doesn't make it right...sex is a privilege and a bond between husband and wife and should be treated a such...Lets say you have a wife and she responds to every guy with a sexual impulse or response...would you say "oh babe your morals are so right?" on..!!I hope you'll be disgusted, I would because that belongs to you and her...I don't want to just post these responses to prove anyone wrong, just rationalize your thoughts seriously on the day of judgment it will be too late...(Christ is salvation, our reward is with him...repent and trust in him...ask you you shall receive.)
