I think so, but thats not all we should do.. we should just drill more and build for refineries to get us by while we come up with alternative forms of fuel (not ethenol)
Unfortunately, it's to a point now where drilling in the US should be the chosen alternative to Americans being hit with these high gas prices.
Secondly, if we have the capability to be a little bit more independant from other countries on this issue, than we should pursue that.
Yes we need to drill for oil! High gas prices are getting out of control, and I don't think they will get lower any soon. We should not wait when gas prices will reach $10 per gallon, and then start to think about looking for oil, but we should start doing this now.
We should not until our economy will start to collapse. With high gas prices, other market prices such as food are going up too.
Let's not wait until is too late, and start looking for oil!

well I do agree with some of the other students comments but Europe has been paying very high gas prices for a good while now, I believe well over $5 U.S. dollars. But drilling for our own oil will lower gas prices for us and meet our demand that we so badly need.
