Is it right for the Federal Government to issue tax rebates in order to stimulate the economy?

No! I will not support US government in sending all tax payer free money, I understand that Government want people to spend money but I don't think everyone will need this money for what government porpose it for.

Some people like myself we not just spend this money, I will rather trow it into my savings account or use it to pay debts, and what about reach people? this money is of no value to them. What I will surgest for this money is that may be they should use it as tax returne for all tax payer instead of just free money, it will be like they calculate this money according to how much each tax payer pay par year.

I don't believe the US government should hand out cash that it doesn't have.

We are already in so much debt that we can't afford to support that kind of policy. Most likely they're not going to issue bonds to cover that sum of money, there's a high chance that the money will be printed (ah...the miracle of paper money!) Printing money causes inflation, and at times like this when we're heading towards another recession, it's just plain stupidity. Our country spends so much money on imports like gas/oil from the Middle East, tons of goods made in China, electronic equipments from Japan. The American people will most likely be spending of that $600-800 on imports. To simply put, what it does is depresses the American dollar to help other countries grow.

Instead of finding real long-term solutions to recover our failing economy, our government gets lazy and took the easy way out...give ourself a HUGE dose of caffeine to delay the inevitable recession.
