I believe John McCain has the stand that will best support judicial restraint. In his article, he said that he believes in appointing judges who will "faithfully apply the law that is written."
Based on the article, Barack Obama seems to be planning to appoint activist judges who will continue to take away the power of the legislature and the self-government of the American people.
